I’m a 23 year old female artist and I like to explore ideas of femininity in my work, using lots of bright colors like pinks, purples, and pastels. I almost exclusively work in color in order to explore color properties and how they may change a piece. I like everything pink and cute, and I’m interested in using those elements to express my personal feminine experience and feminist ideas in a way that challenges the oppressive patriarchy. I’m currently experimenting with mixed media, such as painting with embroidered or stitched elements, and digital media. I am also working on building my portfolio and finding my personal illustration style by exploring different kinds of commercial work, like posters, social media imagery, and narrative illustration.

Environmental rights are also very important to me so I am working to ensure the sustainability of this business by utilizing reduced waste shipping methods, recycled packaging, and organic or soy inks for printing. Eco-friendly consumerism is an ongoing journey and I am simply doing my part!
